Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in 1980. Bell is a Michigan native who was born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Her birthplace was in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan with an Polish mother and a father that is German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen was already a talented entertainer in the early stages. She went to her audition in 1992 and was offered the role of Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell received an agent who was appointed by her mother before the age of 13 and was cast as a model in television and newspaper commercials. At this time she began taking training in private acting. Bell was a character who did not have a credit on Polish Wedding (1998), an upcoming film. Bell took part in the Drama and Music Club at Shrine Catholic High School. The Wizard of Oz was presented by the high school and she won the role of Dorothy. After graduating, Bell made the move in New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell quit her studies in 2001 and assumed the role of Becky the character of Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. But, her scene was cut out of the movie and she was not even on the screen credits. Bell made an appearance in Broadway on Broadway in The Crucible, a revival which featured Liam Neeson with Angela Bettis.
