Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer, an actor and songwriter, who specialises in country-pop music as well as songwriting gained prominence on TV when she became Alex in the last three seasons of One Tree Hill. The series featured her first albums as country music which helped her debut album on the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed the Top Ten. It was the end of the decade with appearances in Dancing with the Stars, TV films and non-album singles. It was 2021 when The Doubting Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to music from the country genre and later went on to make a go of it as a recording artist. However, she made her acting debut as young teenager in 2002's independent horror film Dead/Undead. Her appearances were in guest spots in All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights during the 2nd season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer would go on to play Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009), before she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until the halfway point of its finale season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her sign a record contract with Elektra Records. In 2011, she premiered the modern music video for the love song of a country singer I Won't Give Up. Later, in 2012, the song was released via Jana Kramer - her first album. The track reached into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Kramer remained focused on her music career while still acting she acted in movies which enticed her fans, such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One with Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. With help from the Top Five country hit I Got the Boy as well as the duet she did together with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith it did even better, reaching the top spot of 3 on the national albums chart, and tenth in the Billboard 200. In September, she spent two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, that ended in fourth-place finish. In the same year, she had an adult contemporary hit featuring Feels Like Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.

Patricia Apollonia Kotero is an American actress singer and former model. Her most well-known role was co-starring in the film of Prince's Purple Rain and for having been the main singer for the girl group Apollonia 6.
