Andree Martinez

Andree was born in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico and was brought up to El Paso, Texas. She comes from a family of entertainers. Her upbringing was in a family of entertainers and performers, which included her sister Karla Martinez, host of Despierta America on Univision Despierta America (1997)). When she was a child her family was filled with celebrities on television, like her younger sister, Karla (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in the United States. He is responsible for the company's programs and activities focused on worker safety as well as business resilience, which are key issues for SCE. Martinez assists safety leaders in achieving their safety goals by providing supervision and guidance for them, as well as quality safety training programs. Martinez was the Director of Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE prior to his current job. He was previously director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In the thirty years working at SCE Martinez was in a variety of leadership roles in programs focused on improving efficiency and corrective actions. These included positions at San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station SONGS that focused on the protection of employees and public.
